Homotoxicology
Homotoxicology was founded in 1952 by the German doctor Dr. Hans Heinrich Reckeweg (1905- 1985), and considers all ailments to be the body's reaction against its poisons disease. Homotoxine according to Reckeweg, means "human poison", from the Latin word homo which means man and the Greek word toxon which means poison. By term Homotoxine therefore, we refer not only to substances that are poisonous to thehuman organism, but even in those that are not well tolerated by him. The toxins are either endogenous, when they are created in the human body, or exogenous, when break into the one from outside. Thus, all symptoms of a disease are effects of it of the body's defense effort to eliminate toxins.
Illness can be caused by: chemicals, radiation, drugs, food, bacteria, stress, viruses, allergens but also the individual's constitution. Therefore, according toReckeweg, "disease" is the expression of 'intentional'; his biological defense reactionsorganism against poisonous toxins, both endogenous and exogenous or even thethe body's attempt to repair toxic damage.Consequential "health", according tohomotoxicology, means getting rid of poisons and the damage caused by themand "sanitization" it means restoring balance, disturbed by toxins. Especially in our time, when the environment is extremely burdened and continues to be bombardedof poisons, Reckeweg's antihomotoxic therapy emerges as one of the most modern forms of treatment.
